ABOUT US

At a young age, I was either grill side with my father or in the kitchen with my mother and grandmothers, learning the tricks of the trade you can only learn firsthand. From your basic family dinners to hosting holiday events we hosted several times a year, the food was always what you would expect, from the heart. At that point, I realized that this was going to be the stepping stone to my career path.

After high school, I decided to attend The French Culinary Institute in New York City. I wanted to modernize my recipes and introduce classical French techniques to enhance flavors and presentation. Being the youngest in the class, it was a challenge to prove to one person that I had the skill and mindset to succeed, MYSELF. And so I did!

After graduating amongst the top tier in my class, I decided to venture off at a young age and soak in as much knowledge from top chefs. I moved to South Florida and started working at Steak954, a Stephen Starr establishment at the W Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. With the help and encouragement from the top chefs that worked there, I learned the finer things in life, fine dining that is. After returning home to New York, I worked at renowned restaurants in New York City such as Morimoto and Buddakan.

 

Shortly after I transitioned into catering and landed various jobs in high end catering halls. Then it hit me, why not incorporate the two together. That's where I come in. The flavors and presentation of a fine dining restaurant catered right to your doorstep. Méli Mélo is a French term for mix and match. I offer you the diversity to select a package that is most suitable for your event. Hosting Made Easy!
